Güner Yasemin Balcı, Integration Officer for Berlin-Neukölln, talks very personally about growing up in Berlin's Rollberg district and her work in the neighbourhood.
Tuesday, 03. March 2026, 18:30 – 20:00 h
At the University of Zurich, Rämistrasse 71, 8006 Zurich, KOL-G-201 (Aula)
Güner Yasemin Balcı's new book is a declaration of love for Germany, but at the same time speaks plainly about the problems of an immigrant society. We look forward to an exciting exchange about, among other things, her growing up in Berlin's Rollberg district, which turned into a social hotspot under reactionary Islam from the 1980s onwards.
