Jill Lepore, born in 1966, is a professor of American history at Harvard University as well as a staff writer at ‘The New Yorker’ magazine. She has received more than half a dozen prizes for her books, and was a finalist for the National Book Award as well as the Pulitzer Prize. Her magnum opus ‘These Truths’ could be found on American bestseller lists for weeks.
