Juliane Marie Schreiber

Short Bio

Juliane Marie Schreiber, born in Berlin in 1990, is a political scientist and journalist. Her socially critical non-fiction book "Ich möchte lieber nicht" (I'd rather not) spent three consecutive months on the non-fiction bestseller lists (ZDF, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, Die Zeit) and became a bestseller. Schreiber has worked as a speechwriter and consultant for foundations and human rights organisations. She studied political science and sociology in Berlin (Humboldt University) and Paris (Sciences Po). Her book "Bilder als Waffen" (Images as Weapons) was awarded the Aquila Ascendens Young Scholars’ Prize for Security Policy.
