Die Ukraine und die Weltwirtschaftskrise

In the wake of the international financial crisis, Ukraine fell into a deep recession in 2008. To date, little has changed in this situation. What is important now are structural reforms that would entail a solid economic policy, transparency and democratic reliability. In pursuing such a programme, Ukraine is also dependent on its European partners and their attention. It is also in Europe's interest that Ukraine - especially as an important oil and gas producer - finds its way out of the crisis quickly and permanently.
