Clemens Fuest outlines an economic agenda for Europe that combines economic competitiveness with sustainability and security.
Wednesday, 23. October 2024, 18:30 – 20:00 h
At the University of Zurich, Rämistrasse 71, 8006 Zurich, KOL-G-201 (Aula)
Economic development in Europe is sluggish. On the one hand, this is due to longer-term challenges such as an ageing society, digitalisation and global warming. On the other hand, current crises, in particular the Russian attack on Ukraine and the consequences for energy supply, defence and foreign trade, are having a negative impact. In order to overcome these challenges, Europe needs a well thought-out economic policy agenda that combines economic competitiveness with sustainability and security.
