Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann is a member of the FDP federal executive committee and the executive committee of the FDP parliamentary group. From 2008 to 2014, she was First Mayor and thus Deputy Mayor of the North Rhine-Westphalian state capital Düsseldorf. She has been a member of the German Bundestag since the 2017 Bundestag elections. She has been Chair of the Defence Committee of the German Bundestag since 2021.
