Former Chancellor of the Republic of Austria – Co-founder and President of DREAM

Short Bio

Sebastian Kurz was born in Vienna in 1986. From 2003, he became involved with the Young ÖVP, and in 2005 he began studying law in Vienna. In 2007, he was elected regional chairman of the Young ÖVP in Vienna, and in June 2009 he was elected national chairman of the Young ÖVP. From November 2010, he served as a member of the Vienna State Parliament and the Vienna City Council until he was appointed State Secretary for Integration in April 2011. In 2013, he was sworn in as Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs. This was followed in 2014 by the chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe and, in 2015, that of the People’s Party’s Political Academy. From 2017 to 2019 and from 2020 to 2021, Kurz served as Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Austria.

Today, Sebastian Kurz works as an internationally active consultant alongside his team at SK Management GmbH. His work focuses primarily on the Middle East.
