The pandemic crisis of the last two years has unveiled ethical fractures in our societies. Resources as well as burdens had to be distributed fairly, principles such as freedom, security or solidarity had to be weighed against each other and a constantly changing state of affairs had to be taken into account. What can we learn from this difficult period for future crises? What role can ethics play in this learning process?
