As CEO of Exor and Chairman of Stellantis and Ferrari, John Elkann will discuss experiences of innovation in business, through a wide range of examples. Mature industrial groups are deploying significant investments in technology, digitalization and decarbonization. At the same time, Exor has been investing for several years in early-stage companies via Exor Seeds and more recently via a venture builder program, Vento, to foster entrepreneurship in high-potential sectors such as technology and mobility.
John Elkann is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of EXOR N.V., Chairman of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. and Chairman of Ferrari N.V. Born in New York in 1976, John Elkann obtained a scientific baccalaureate from the Lycée Victor Duruy in Paris, and graduated in Engineering from Politecnico, the Engineering University of Turin. While at university, he gained work experience in various companies of the Fiat Group in the UK and Poland (manufacturing) as well as in France (sales and marketing). He started his professional career in 2001 at General Electric as a member of the Corporate Audit Staff, with assignments in Asia, the USA and Europe. John Elkann is Chairman of Giovanni Agnelli B.V. and Vice-Chairman of GEDI Gruppo Editoriale S.p.A. He is also a board member of PartnerRe Ltd. and The Economist Group. John Elkann is Chairman of the Giovanni Agnelli Foundation and a member of MoMA.
